Version 3 of Ragebot was a major rewrite.  Although it looks quite similar, there are significant changes "under the hood" that prevent a complete 1 to 1 upgrade.


You can import instances from V2 to V3 but there are still additional tasks you need to do.


Assuming your V2 database is still on the computer, you can use the "Add Instance" page in Ragebot 3 to import the data.


V2 instances are displayed here with "(V2)" appended to the name and a small Ragebot icon overlaying the emulator icon.



Simply select the instances you want to import and press the "Import" button on the toolbar.


Once imported, you should then check the instance to ensure it is set up as you like.  Because some things changed between V2 and V3, you may find that not all settings will transfer.


  • If you had Monarch images set up for thieves, you will need to do those again manually as the screen resolution has changed so the old images would no longer be valid.
  • Check your Vikings are set to summon the correct level as the ID's for these have changed.
  • Stamina redemption changed and added new options so visit those settings and check them out.
  • No schedules are imported.  They have changed too much and the instance ID's used in V2 no longer apply to the ones in V3. Unfortunately, you will need to set them up again.
  • Check your marches and generals and any routines that use them.
  • Check all other settings for each routine.
